Do you ever encounter a task that's kind of tedious, and you realize you know some way to make it go faster, only to spend way longer automating it than it would've taken in the first place?

Hi, this is the programmer bunny speaking!

The site you're reading here is written in Hugo. Hugo is a tool/ framework/ thingamajig that lets you generate static HTML from Markdown files, manage content formatting, and some other things I don't feel like getting into.

We just spent Way too long trying to set our site up, so ideally this should be easier to update now? Dump a blog post or two on here when we're feeling it. Hopefully.

Still can't help but wonder if it would've been easier gritting our teeth and writing raw HTML to do these things. Who knows. This is just a single markdown file we have to edit, and it automatically gets linked elsewhere on the site.

What else will we post here?

It is a mystery!
